Scenes from the 4th: At the Pool

So of course there is nothing better than hanging out at the pool on the 4th of July.  It's the only way to beat the heat after all.

And show off our patriotic swim suits.  Seriously?  Too cute.

And prove that you CAN drown wearing a life jacket if you try hard enough.

And splash.

And try to drown your brother. 

And if at first you don't succeed, try, try, again.

Speaking of cuteness... How about those sharks?

Can't take it.  Too much cuteness.

And snacks.  For adult swim time.

And talk about a blast from the past.  When was the last time you had Cracker Jacks?

Did you know they still have prizes inside?  I was hoping for tattoos.  Instead I got some sort of origami picture that had to be cut.  Dud.

Thankfully they did eventually let us back into the pool.

So we could practice our floating.

And blowing bubbles.

And swimming.
