The boys made pretty quick work of the first 5 or so games including a numbered rubber ducky game, plinko and various bean bag and hoop tosses. But when we went to the second area and Connor discovered the sandboxes I had my doubts as to whether or not he was ever going to leave the dinosaurs in the sand and visit the rest of the games. Though he did eventually move on lured mostly by the possibility of more prizes.
I have to say both boys were pretty good sports about the games and had a good time trying to do them.
Connor was especially brave and even let them spray paint his hair blue. Ryan on the other hand wasn't so sure about it and chickened out after conning me into getting a pink streak of my own.
Both boys particularly enjoyed the painting tables with the giant gloopy paints and roller dots. Though I am not sure how much paint actually ended up on the paper vs. how much they were both wearing, Connor in particular. I had a moment of panic the first time he smeared the paint on his shirt as I hadn't brought a change of clothes, and I knew we wouldn't have time to run home and change before the birthday party. Luckily he didn't get too much more on him as we had to run the party as we were.
